The Role This role is aimed at students in their final year of study or have recently graduated. The Jaytex Graduate | Cadet program is aimed to help fast track your career in Project and Construction Management. Aimed at providing you real work experience and exposure to complex construction projects. Reporting to your own mentor, your primary responsibility will be to support all construction personnel on site with the coordination of construction projects, as well as the necessary administrative duties. Key Responsibilities: Project Coordination : Support project managers in planning, organizing, and executing projects from initiation to completion. Documentation Management : Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports. Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners. Resource Allocation: Assist in resource allocation and scheduling to ensure timely project delivery. Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and managing project-related correspondence. Defects & Handover: Oversee the identification and rectification of defects, ensuring smooth handover to clients upon project completion. About You Demonstrated experience in Project Administration or similar role. (Highly desirable) Currently Studying Degree or recently completed in Construction Science or Similar Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Suite. (Work, Excel, Outlook, etc.) (Desirable) Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional level communication skills assessment is required. Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail. Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.
